Online Courses

Everyone I know complains that online courses are a drag. They’re “annoying, too difficult, confusing, hard to keep up with, boring”, etc. I really can’t understand where those people are coming from. Of the two online classes I’ve taken during my two years in college so far I would say they were the easiest credits I’ve received. How hard is it to sit on your ass and read a book, take a quiz/test, and participate in an online discussion? You can do it from your couch you ninnies!

Right now I’m taking Medical Terminology online and to be honest it’s really interesting and not too much of a challenge. But it’s painful to see the other people in the class participate in discussions where they’re clearly talking out of their asses because they didn’t read the assigned chapters in the text. I honestly cringe when I read some of them. I’m starting to feel really bad for my professor who has to grade all of those half-assed postings and watch those babbling idiots waste their tuition.

Rant over.
